Welcome! My name is Hope (aka Lee). I’m a passionate, urban homesteading mom of eight, blooming where I’m planted. While my heart would love to live off grid on forty acres, I’m grateful to be growing our family on our third of an acre, suburban lot, in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. While we walk a soul full path, we are becoming more sustainable and environmentally conscious.

If you are interested in growing your own food, raising chickens, guiding children gently, living a simpler life with less, while appreciating the abundance in an ordinary day, then you have found a friend and a place of peace. Come through our garden gate and I’ll pour you a cup of tea. We can chat about ways to, (h.o.p.e.) help our planet earth. I may even have a story or two to share with you.
